The BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety will teach you how to identify hazards in your workplace, assist with responding to incidents, assess and control risk and consult on work health and safety issues.
As a result, the BSB41419 Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) is the ideal qualification for those planning to enter the Work, Health and Safety (WHS) profession, or for those currently working in an organisation who wish to gain more specialised WHS knowledge within their current role.

Successful completion of the Certificate IV in WHS (BSB41419) and suitable experience provides you with the opportunity to become a supervisor/manager, or trainee manager in medium and large organisations within the area of workplace health and safety.
After completing training in Workplace Health and Safety you will be able to work as a health and safety practitioner, responsible for the organisation of the safety and health functions within a workplace.

#1 These units will be assessed via practical activities, however there will not be time assigned to undertaking study in relation to these units.
BONUS UNIT: We give all particpants an opportunity to complete 'BSBWHS505 - Investigate WHS Incidents' online, after the face to face course. This is a core unit from the Diploma WHS, and will give you credit if you wish to upgrade your qualification at a later date. You have 90 days to complete this bonus unit. Students who complete this unit are not required to complete TADEL301.
