Under current WHS legislation both employers and employees have duties and responsibilities to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. It is the social, ethical and legal responsibility of every person in the organisation to provide a safe and healthy work environment.
A person conducting a business or undertaking has a primary duty of care to the health and safety of workers. They must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable the provision of any information, training, instruction or supervision that is necessary to protect all persons from risks to their health and safety arising from work carried out as part of the conduct of the business or undertaking (NSW WHS Act Clause 19)
Our short Safety Workshops are designed to assist employers meet the requirements of the Work Health and Safety Act. These Short WHS workshops are a great way to familiarise your staff and supervisors with your organisationīs policies and procedures.
Depending on your requirements, workshops generally run from 30 - 90 minutes. These short safety training courses can be conducted in your workplace. Our trainers will travel throughout NSW. Alternatively we offer some of these courses as public training course in Sydney CBD.
