Protective and Safety Services

There are four (4) basic steps for using modern portable fire extinguishers.
The acronym PASS is used to describe these four steps.
Before attempting to fight a fire, ensure you have the correct type of extinguisher and that it is safe to do so.
Always evacuate the area and call the fire department.
